Schabach, Jean Marie (3 May 1983)

The Rev. Marjorie Ferrell officiated at the Tuesday late afternoon, May 3, wedding of Jean Marie Schabach of Sheboygan and Rick Jay Lindau of Marshfield. The nuptials were shared in St. John’s United Church of Christ in Random Lake. Parents of the couple are Ruth Schabach of Chilton and the late Eugene Schabach, and Melvin and Donna Lindau, Neillsville.

Madeline Dumke of Chilton and John Goldhamer and Karyn Schuh of Abbotsford and Ronda Lindau of Neillsville offered special music for the service.

Serving as matron of honor was Barbara Lindau, the groom’s sister-in-law of Cincinnati, Oh. She was joined by Ann Marie Dumke, a friend from Chilton. Bestman was Brian Lindau, the groom’s brother of Cincinnati. He was joined by Gary Murkowski, a friend from Milwaukee. Ushers were Joseph Marx and Jeffrey Duerr, friends from Marshfield.

The bride chose her mother’s wedding dress. She carried a bouquet of white and peach roses, lilies-of-the-valley and baby’s breath.

Following the service, a dinner reception was held at the Grand Executive Inn, Sheboygan. The couple announced wedding trip plans to Cincinnati.

The new Mrs. Lindau is a 1979 graduate of Chilton High School and in 1981 from Mid-State Tech- Marshfield. She is employed in the respiratory therapy department of St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan. Her husband, a 1971 graduate of Neillsville High School, is employed in the respiratory therapy department at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
