Ellen Jane Schumacher became the bride of Brian Schultz, Sunday, May 30, 1976.

The Rev. Roland Golz performed the 2 p.m. ceremony at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Dorchester.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schumacher, Dorchester, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schultz, Curtiss.

The bride wore a pearl trimmed English net and Chantilly lace bodiced gown with long fitted lace sleeves. The satin A-line skirt edged with a flounce at the hemline, featured a chapel train. Her lace edged fingertip veil was held by a Camelot headpiece. She carried a cascade of daisies and white stephanotis.

Jennifer Schumacher was amid of honor. Mrs. Gloria Henline, Medford, and Sally and Cathy Schumacher were bridesmaids.

Cathy Schultz, a niece of the bridegroom, was the miniature bride.

Delicate floral print gowns were worn by each of the attendants. Each gown had a different underling in shades of blue, peach, pastel yellow and mint green. Matching hats were worn as headpieces. They carried a sing mum tinted the color of gown’s lining.

Rod Karaka, Owen, was best man for the bridegroom. David Schultz, Arnold, Maryland, Curt Wuellner, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Terry Laube, Owen, were groomsmen.

Tony Schumacher, a brother of the bride, was miniature groom. Lee Schultz, De Forest, and Phil Samek, Indianapolis, Indiana, were ushers.

Organist for the occasion was Collen Zirngibl, Green Bay.

Michael Erdmann, Sheboygan, was vocalist, and Jim Rauscher, Medford, was trumpeter.

A reception and wedding supper followed at Dorchester Memorial Hall.

The bride is a Medford High School graduate of 1974. She attends the University of Wisconsin Marathon County Center.

The bridegroom graduated from Owen-Withee in 1971, and graduated from Valparaiso University in 1975. He is present a graduate student at Notre Dame in economics.

After a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin, the couple will live in South Bend, Illinois.
