Fairview - St. Joseph's Catholic Church

Fairview is the name of the place where the little church, the Fairview - St. Joseph's Catholic Church south of Fairchild, is located.  An old published history of Clark County claims this to be the first Catholic church in that county.  It is on the  very edge of the Jackson-Clark County line.

This photo and article were taken from the Banner Journal dated Sept. 26, 2007 and transcribed by Cindy Dressler.

(The majority of the Catholics in Mentor Twp. were members of this church)
