Visitors gathered Saturday, July 9, 2011, at The Highground’s Learning Center for a dedication of its Three Soldiers Study.

Scott Bahrke of the Chase Art Companies attended the dedication and discussed how the Three Soldiers began at Washington, D. C.

This study is the Learning Center’s signature sculpture.  Accompanying the Three Soldiers Study is a unique, never before cast bronze of dog tags from the far right figure of The Three Soldiers statue.

Engraved on plaques below the study are the names of donors who brought the sculpture to The Highground.

The day was also a special one for a Highground volunteer, Skip Klabon.  Klabon is a Vietnam Veteran who just retired.  Klabon’s wife, Debbie, presented him with one of the dog tags as a gift.

While visiting The Highground, stop by the Learning Center to view Michael Reagan’s Fallen Heroes Project.  At the same time, view The Highground’s signature sculpture of the Three Soldiers.
