May 22, about 400 people attended St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and School’s 125th anniversary celebration, which focused on the past.  Members worshipped, joined in singing “God Bless Our School,” were amazed by “Jake the Juggler” and enjoyed the entertainment and historical trivia program.

The 125th anniversary celebration continues this Sept.18 as St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church focuses on the present. The day will begin with a 9 a.m. special worship service and will continue into the early afternoon with a family reunion-type atmosphere, including food, games and prizes. All present and former members and friends of St. John’s Church are invited to attend.
