Benoni John (John Benoni) married Olive THOMPSON, daughter of Olive. Born in 1818 in New York State. Olive died in Cascade Twp, Olmsted Co, Minnesota on 1 Jul 1897, she was 79.

On 11 Oct 1880 when Marietta was 23, she married George BEACHWOOD, son of Gottfried BEACHWOOD, in Rochester , Minnesota. Born on 22 Jul 1852 in Niagra Co., New York.

2. Ephraim Austin BOARDMAN. Born on 17 Mar 1838 in Tioga Co., Pennsylvania. Ephraim Austin died in Thorp, Thorp Twp., Clark Co, Wisconsin on 1 Apr 1914, he was 76. Buried in Thorp Village Cemetery, Clark Co., WI. Occupation: farmer, proprietor of a sawmill flour mill, and lumberyard in Thorp Wisconsin. On his death certificate he is listed as a manufacturer.  His cabin was the second known home to have been built in Thorp, WI by the settlers.

On 13 Feb 1860 when Ephraim Austin was 21, he married Savilla L. FULTS, daughter of Joseph FULTS & Emaline LAWRENCE. Born on 6 Jul 1843 in near Theresa Falls, New York. Savilla L. died in Thorp, Clark Co., WI on 7 Dec 1909, she was 66.

They had the following children:

i. Anson A.. Born on 14 Feb 1862 in Rochester, Minnesota. Anson A. died in Clark Co. Asylum, Owen , WI on 1 Apr 1936, he was 74. Buried in Thorp Village Cemetery, Clark Co., WI. Occupation: Engineer.

ii. Owen. Born in 1866 in Minnesota.

3. James Seneca BOARDMAN. Born in 1848 in Pennsylvania. Occupation: Farmer.

On 14 Jun 1868 when James Seneca was 20, he married Ida E. HUBBARD, daughter of David HUBBARD & UNNAMED, in Mason City, Iowa. Born in Sep 1849 in Wisconsin.

They had the following children:

i. Lydia. Born on 8 Jun 1870 in Cascade Twp., Olmsted Co., Minnesota. Lydia died on 15 May 1880, she was 9.

ii. Mabel. Born in Mar 1873. Mabel died on 16 May 1880, she was 7.

iii. Daniel H.. Born in Apr 1876. Daniel H. died on 14 May 1880, he was 4.

iv. Charles Hooker. Born on 7 Apr 1878. Charles Hooker died on 14 May 1880, he was 2.

v. Edith Olive. Born in 1871. Edith Olive died in Town of Thorp, Clark Co., Wisconsin on 19 Mar 1877, she was 6.

viii. Beaulah. Born on 31 May 1885 in Thorp, Clark Co., Wisconsin. Occupation: Sewing Woman.

 

4. Willis C. BOARDMAN. Born on 30 May 1850 in Tioga Co., Pennsylvania. Willis C. died in Thorp , Clark Co., Wisconsin on 19 Jan 1913, he was 62. Occupation: Farmer.

In 1876 when Willis C. was 25, he married Mary Ann KEGAL, daughter of Peter KEGAL & Catherine SMITH, in Rochester, Olmsted Co., Minnesota. Born in Feb 1861 in Minnesota.

They had the following children:

i. Myrtle May. Born on 28 Nov 1877 in Cascade Twp, Olmsted Co, Minnesota.

Myrtle May married W.S. PARKS.

ii. Vedell. Born on 28 Nov 1879 in Minnesota. Vedell died on 26 Dec 1965, he was 86.

iii. Verne Everette. Born in Mar 1882 in Minnesota.

9 iv. Ervin Seneca (1884-)

v. Ernest. Born on 1 Feb 1886 in Minnesota.

vi. Elizabeth Ann. Born in Aug 1887. Elizabeth Ann died bef 1918, she was 30.

On 28 Nov 1906 when Nettie was 12, she married Eddie KAVELESKI, in Rochester , Minnesota.

 

5. Marcus T. BOARDMAN. Born on 17 Mar 1861 in Cascade Twp, Olmsted Co, Minnesota. Marcus T. died in Cascade Twp, Olmsted Co, Minnesota on 11 Aug 1931, he was 70. Buried on 14 Aug 1931 in Pleasant Prairie Cem, Olmsted Co, Minn. Occupation: Farmer.

On 10 Feb 1884 when Marcus T. was 22, he married Lettie L. WALDRON, daughter of Daniel WALDRON & Nellie, in Rochester , Olmsted Co., Minnesota. Born in Jun 1869 in Minnesota. Lettie L. died on 7 May 1946, she was 76.

7. Grace BOARDMAN. Born on 6 May 1882 in Thorp, Clark Co., Wisconsin. Grace died in Thorp Village, Clark Co., WI on 9 Jan 1919, she was 36. Buried in Thorp Village Cemetery, Clark Co., WI. Occupation: Grace taught Elementary school for several years prior to her marriage. She then devoted her time to her husband and family. Education: Thorp High School.

On 24 Jun 1903 when Grace was 21, she married Dr. William J. FRANK, son of William FRANK & Johannah B. ELK, in Thorp Village, Clark Co., WI. Born on 15 Mar 1879 in Pepin, Pepin Co., Wisconsin.

They had the following children:

i. Maxine. Born in 1904. Education: Graduated Thorp High School in 1921.

ii. Kathro. Born in 1908.

iii. Jane. Born in 1913.

iv. William J.. Born in 1917.

 

8. Melvin Cleveland BOARDMAN. Born on 25 Jul 1883 in Thorp Village, Clark Co., WI. Melvin Cleveland died in Thorp Village, Clark Co., WI on 15 Apr 1949, he was 65. Buried in East Thorp Cem., Clark Co., Wisconsin. Occupation: Saw and mill operator, mechanic, service station owner.

In 1907 when Melvin Cleveland was 23, he married Grace CHRISTIAN, in Thorp Village, Clark Co., WI. Born on 23 Mar 1890. Grace died in Thorp, Clark Co., Wisconsin on 26 Aug 1978, she was 88.

They had the following children:

i. Ruth May. Born on 14 Mar 1908. Ruth May died on 17 Jan 1987, she was 78. Education: Graduated Thorp High School in 1925 and received a teaching degree from Eau Claire Normal School (now the University of Wisconsin).

Ruth May married Edward MAYER.

ii. Earl Ephraim. Born on 26 Dec 1909. Earl Ephraim died in 1934, he was 24. Occupation: Teacher.

On 25 Dec 1906 when Ervin Seneca was 22, he married Tora LEE, daughter of Andrew LEE & Emily JOHNSON, in Thorp , Clark Co., Wisconsin. Born in 1885 in Norway.

They had the following children:

i. Evelyn M.. Born on 2 Apr 1908 in Thorp , Clark Co., Wisconsin.

Evelyn M. married Mr. RICHARDSON.

10. Cora BOARDMAN. Born in Sep 1889.

abt 1910 when Cora was 20, she married Martin LUEBNER. Born in 1885 in Germany.
