Cecil Tormey Post Celebrates Birthday

Cecil Tormey Post 118 celebrated their 89th birthday on March 1, 2008.  The guest speaker at the dinner was 2007-2008 State Commander David A. Kurtz from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Certificates were presented to those legionnaires who have reached 50 and 60 years of membership.  Celebrating their membership in the American Legion is: front row (L-R) Malen “Butch” Teclaw (64 years), Ted Meyer (60 years), Justin Rosemeyer (64 years), and George Klovas (60 years); Back Row: (L-R) Post 118 Commander Robert Hmielak, Past State Commander (1989-1990) and Past Post 118 Commander Robert Zukowski (50 years) and Chet Strzok (50 years).  Missing from the event was another 60-year member, Bernard Mertens.

The American Legion Post 118 would like to thank all of those who attended and also those who participated in this special event.
