Granton Joint School District 4
Vote on 15-Year Loan

Joint School District No. 4, comprised of the Village of Granton, Towns of York and Grant, will hold a special meeting at the Granton High School on Monday evening, September nineteenth, at eight o‘clock to vote on several propositions.
According to Mr. Lloyd L. Spry, school director, the school board will ask for the authorization of a loan of $14,701.50, to be made from the State Trust Fund. This loan will be repaid in fifteen years together with interest at the rate of three and one-half percent per annum.
The school is very much in need of a new heating plant and it is planned to use part of money loaded for this purpose.
Mrs. Esther Schmidtke, school clerk, said that she expected a good turnout of the voters for this meeting.
