Love is in the air and it’s the time for summer weddings. This week’s “Way Back When” takes us back to a wedding of days gone by. Who is this joyous couple? What year and where was this photograph taken? Please share with us any memories you may have of this cherished occasion. In response to the “Way Back When” photo featured in last week’s Thorp Courier, we received the following information from Ed. The machine was used for silo filling and sawing wood. The gentlemen were Andrew Krych on the right using the grinder to sharpen the knives for silo filling and the young lad was his son, Steven Krych. The year was about 1923. |
