Way Back When

This week, we have four men in varying degrees of age and dress.  It seems that there are some black spheres much like bowling balls in the bottom left corner, perhaps suggesting that this was a bowling team. Do you know who these people are?  Do you know when or where this photo was taken?
 
 
In our March 11 issue, we featured a picture of Adam and Mary Lesniewski at their 50th wedding anniversary celebration.  A few people informed us that the photo was taken in Polish National Alliance Hall, not St. Bernard’s church basement.
 
Last week, we featured a photo of a family in front of a farm.  This photo, provided by Joseph Meske of Chippewa Falls, shows the Bojarski family, taken around 1920 at their family farm.  From left to right are: Paulina Bojarski (nee Niedzwiecki), Anna Meske (nee Bojarski), Frank Bojarski, Leona Swigon (nee Bojarski), Mary Dygdon (nee Bojarski), and Joe Bojarski.
