Second Row: Mrs. Paul Bartell, Mrs. Albert Dahnert, Mrs. Henry Naedler, Mrs. Robert Bruss, Mrs. Calvin Mills

This group of ladies assembles in the home of the members either once or twice a month.  It renders a special service among the children.  The children of our St. John’s Lutheran School are grateful to this society for many school supplies, including the Compton’s Encyclopedia, Cabinet for weight and measure. The society also distributes clothing and gifts to the orphanages of our church.  It is hoped that the number who dedicate themselves to this special service will grow in the coming years.

As a special Jubilee gift the Dorcas Society presents to the congregation the sum of seventy-five dollars.
