picture from 1946 of several Thorp guys, and it's

Poznan: Janet and Stan
contributed a scan of an oilcloth plat map and surveyor's
statement for the
1895 layout of the village of Poznan. Poznan was
never built, but was laid out about four miles east
of Thorp, at the location known as Sterling.

Wood Co. Cemeteries. This master index includes
all the cemeteries in the
Wood County Cemetery
Index, Volumes 1-9, with the exception
of the following cemeteries: Forest Hill, Calvary, and
Restlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Grand Rapids,
and Hillside Municipal and Gate of Heaven Catholic in
the Town/City of Marshfield. Since many Clark
Co. folks are buried in Wood Co., we've decided to include
this new reference in our pages.
